This Cilgerran was completed in August 2009. It features a European spruce Soundboard, Malaysian Blackwood back/ sides, Claro Walnut neck with a martin style 'diamond volute', ebony fingerboard, pyramid bridge and bindings with herringbone purfling, abalone inlays and camel bone bridge pins

These pictures show stages of construction of the Cilgerran (clockwise from top left); the soundboard and sides held in the mould, back braces ready to be glued, The soundboard and back braced and the sides bent, binding and purfling in place, ready for final sanding and gluing on braces in the go bar deck.
