Every guitar I make is treated to the same high level of attention, dedication and care. I have a number of models I call 'standard' guitars but the nature of my work means that many of the features can be customised according to your wishes; size and shape of the neck, fingerboard witdth, binding and inlays can all be altered. If you have a vision of your own completely unique design I will be happy to  work with you to achieve that dream guitar.

I use powertools very sparingly; only for initial machining and thicknessing of timber and jobs where they will allow me more time to spend on the important aspects of building a guitar.

Standard features on all models include:

-     Hand scalloped internal bracing which reduces the mass of the braces whilst maintaining strength, therefore allowing the soundboard to vibrate more fully.

-     Bolt- on necks to allow much easier removal of the neck in the event of  damage or an accident than a standard glued in neck join with no loss of tone.

-     Scarf jointed headstocks for improved strength

These are truly handmade instruments at very affordable prices, please use the toolbar at the top of the page to browse my current guitars. More details are available on the Price list page
