The archtop is recognised as the ultmate jazz guitar. The Manorbier has a solid carved soundboard, Flamed  maple  back and sides, 3 inch deep body and graceful venetian cutaway.

The soundboard is carefully thicknessed; thicker in the centre and thinner, more delicate, at the edge to allow the guitar's voice to really shine through, producing a rich, mellow tone that has plenty of projection to make itself heard.
