Each guitar has a AAA grade soundboard, back and sides. Back and sides included in the standard price are; mahogany, Walnut, Maple and Rosewood or similar. Higher priced Back and sides include Figured wood such as Koa, Flamed Walnut and Maple or more unusual woods such as Blackwoods, Ziracote etc.
All guitars feature either Ebony, Walnut or Maple binding and Black/White/Black purfling. Figured wood binding such as Koa, Snakewood, flamed Maple or plastic are also available.
Gotoh, Grover and Schaller machineheads are standard, other makes are available on request.
Acoustic Guitars
All repair work includes a new set of strings of a gauge of the customers preference. A standard setup includes adjusting the action, cleaning the fingerboard, polishing the frets and adjusting the intonation. A setup with a fret dress includes the above as well as levelling and re crowning to eliminate wear marks and uneven frets.
Refretting is useful when frets are worn beyond playability and can't be dressed.
There are many other repairs such as neck breaks and resets, bridge regluing and structural repairs which I can carry out but haven't listed the prices for.In my experience almost every case is unique, requiring different work and therefore are priced uniquely.

Guitar Finishing/ Refinishing
Prices are for finishing an instrument that is already sanded and ready for spraying in Nitro Cellulose. The price includes grain filling, sealing, spraying, finish sanding and buffing.
The price does not include stripping an existing finish and preparing it for spraying which is extra and priced depending on the finish. Stripping generally costs between £30 and £80.
